Yaniv Gur Arye Chef, teacher and entrepreneur

Chef of Hamarmoret, a wine bar in Haifa’s Talpiot Market, offering local and seasonal cuisine built on close relationships with local producers and growers. He is also the head chef at Strauss and the owner of Nachlaot, a culinary consulting and development company for food and food-tech businesses.

Gur Arye teaches “Culinary with Five Senses,” a course exploring the essence of the culinary experience and the connection between food, the brain, and consciousness. He is also the co-founder of Adama Le Adam, a culinary initiative dedicated to rescuing and repurposing surplus agricultural produce. He lives in Tivon.
