Asif: Culinary Institute of Israel is a non-profit organization and culinary center in Tel Aviv dedicated to cultivating and nurturing Israel’s diverse and creative food culture. Our aim is to explore local food culture and provide a home for research, dialogue, and a wide range of culinary experiences. Food does not stand alone. Exploring how it relates to history, culture, politics, ecology, fashion, technology, and gender is what guides Asif as a culinary center that encourages innovation.
Job Description
Establish the positioning of Asif as a leading culinary institute locally and overseas through social networks, traditional media, and marketing initiatives in the digital and physical worlds.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and define Asif’s digital marketing
- Plan and create digital marketing and social content
- Expand Asif’s online readership and community, primarily among 25-35 year olds
- Work with Asif’s PR team to coordinate and execute marketing plans
- Broaden the culinary conversation in Israel under the Asif brand
- Manage collaborations and diverse marketing projects
- Synchronize marketing activity across media and social outlets for optimal brand presentation
Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience building marketing strategies and working with partners to execute them
- Proven track record of brand storytelling
- Extensive experience in managing social media accounts for a brand
- Talent for, and experience in, video production across social networks like TikTok and Instagram
- Experience in marketing writing
- Self-starter who can conceive of and produce marketing plans
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Native Hebrew speaker
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Passion for food and culture, strongly preferred
