From the Herb Garden

Herbs are an integral part of regional cooking styles across the Middle East. Nechama Rivlin, Israel’s late First Lady, was a dedicated herb gardener — in pots on her window sills and backyard — and used fresh and dried herbs in many of her savory recipes and baked goods. In this collection, find dishes from Nechama as well as new herb-laden recipes from acclaimed Israeli chef Erez Komarovsky.

This recipe collection is part of Asif’s inaugural exhibition “A Kitchen of One’s Own: Nechama Rivlin.”
