Yuval Ziv Baker and Diving instructor

Yuval Ziv reached Eilat in the 1980s as a diving instructor, and fell in love with the southern city. The descendant of bakers — his grandfather, Gdalyahu Broitman, was a baker in East Poland in the early 20th century — he opened Broitman Bread in 2014, where he sells artisanal sourdough breads, pastries, and pantry items like olive oil and honey.
