In response to the ongoing war, Asif has launched weekly cooking workshops for individuals evacuated from their homes near the Gaza and Lebanon borders. Many of these evacuees are currently living in hotels in Tel Aviv and don’t know when they will be able to return home.

These workshops offer a meaningful opportunity to gather, cook, and enjoy a meal together around a table. Each week, a different renowned culinary expert takes the lead and teaches a few of their recipes. Liza Panelim hosted a brunch workshop for members of Kibbutz Be’eri, while Shaily Lipa helped guests make a Greek brunch, and Rinat Tzadok shared how to make a Yemenite one. Rottem Liberson taught Persian recipes and Hila Alpert hosted an olive oil-themed Hanukkah workshop
You can sign up for an upcoming workshop here. Classes are open to all individuals 14 and older. Space is limited and we do our best to accommodate as many participants as possible.
