The Final Projects From the Course ‘Human-Food Interaction’ With a Lecture by Professor Michal Rinot

Students in the “Human-Food Interaction” course at Shenkar spent the last semester examining the intersection of people, food, technology, and experience. In collaboration with Asif, they crafted interactive experiences for the various spaces of the center that address how to find a book in the library and how to peek into the test kitchen.

Guests at this event will be invited to explore the first prototypes of these experiences. In the second project they turned to the future and asked: How will we eat in 30 years? They’ll present those visions — both utopian and dystopian.

After exploring the projects, hear a lecture by Michal Rinot, director of the Kedar Center for Design and Technology. She will speak on the field of human and food interaction, and how interactive technology can change or improve how people encounter food.

Schedule:

19:00 – 20:00 Guests are invited to explore the various works and prototypes

20:00 – 20:40  Lecture on the 4th floor (seating based on availability)

Admission is free, but pre-registration is required.
