Situated in the Ella Valley and the Judean Hills, Agur Winery stands among the transformative wineries reshaping our wine-drinking experience. Founded over two decades ago by the charismatic Shuki Yashuv, the winery bears his imprint, and produces exceptional bottles brimming with personality. Deeply immersed in every aspect of the winery he founded, Yashuv transformed it into a genuine representation of the region. In recent years, he was joined by Elad Katz, a talented and passionate CEO who infused new professionalism into the winery’s cellars, and winemaker Eyal Drori, who provided a genuine rationale for crafting wines in this particular region.

Hedai Offaim notes, “The wines produced in the winery could not have been produced anywhere else, carrying not only the spirit of the winemaker but mainly the template of the landscape of this winery’s homeland. This is the wine of the ‘here and now,’ but no less than that, it is the wine that seems to have been here forever.”
During weekdays, guided wine tastings (by appointment) offer a chance to savor the wines alongside a variety of local produce. On weekends, Live Friday events are held fortnightly and the winery courtyard comes alive with jazz performances. So, grab a bottle of wine, a picnic basket, spread out a mat, and welcome Shabbat.
